Like many knitters, I learned as a child. I let it lapse. Then in 2005—for some reason—I picked it up again. It has carried me through boredom, layoffs, and pre-presentation nerves ever since.

And like many crafters, curiosity has pulled me into other disciplines. You might catch me learning in public. Be kind.

My mission: help craft educators, designers, and yarn stores attract more students and build communities of learning, making, and mindfulness. It matters because we need more people making things. When we make, we become mindful. When we're mindful, we're kinder.
